@ More of the usual, Grateful *! Joyful *&* SATURDAY

I work, thank God.  And I am good at my job.  When things go wrong I get really angry and want to get really boozed up.   Or eat a half gallon of ice cream.  Or hide in bed. 

As I get more sober, I don’t want to do those things so much.  I would much rather shout and pound my fist on the table, or just say “F*ck it – it will all work out anyhow” or once calmed down a bit read a little Art History which was a great love when I was young and is an even greater love now. 

This means that I am getting better in a sense, less rageful and more honestly angry, less anxiety and more action, less anti-social behavior and more confrontation - YAHOO! 

So for all this I am wild with energy and joy and want to sacrifice a ram to the gods (which I don’t believe in, being a monotheist, but you get the bloodied altar idea). 

Have a massively good 24 hours of Saturday!

It’s been a good week

What can I give thanks for today?

1. The morning coffee.

2. My amazing girlfriend – she’s not perfect, but she’s perfect for me!

3. Yogurt and fruit for breakfast!

4. The summer heat beating down!

5. Nail clippers – it is always nice to get the nails clipped to the right length!

For all of this, and much much more, I holler in thanksgiving to Providence!
